Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun aplikasi web kalkulator kalori berbasis dataset Food and Nutrient Database for Dietary Studies (FNDDS) dari United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) sebagai alat bantu pemantauan nutrisi harian. Metode penelitian menggunakan model pengembangan sistem Waterfall yang meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, pengujian, serta evaluasi. Aplikasi dibangun menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Python dengan framework Flask dan memanfaatkan pustaka Pandas untuk pengolahan data nutrisi. Pengujian sistem dilakukan menggunakan metode blackbox testing terhadap seluruh fitur utama, termasuk pencarian makanan, pemilihan kategori, dan perhitungan kandungan gizi. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh fungsi sistem berjalan dengan tingkat keberhasilan 100% pada skenario uji fungsional, serta hasil perhitungan kalori, protein, lemak, dan karbohidrat sesuai dengan data referensi USDA. Waktu respons sistem rata-rata kurang dari 1 detik per permintaan, menunjukkan kinerja aplikasi yang efisien. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada integrasi dataset USDA yang terstandar secara ilmiah ke dalam aplikasi web ringan berbasis Python-Flask yang dirancang khusus untuk kebutuhan edukasi dan pemantauan nutrisi harian pengguna di Indonesia, dengan pendekatan perhitungan gizi proporsional berbasis berat makanan. Aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat menjadi media edukasi gizi berbasis web yang mudah diakses dan dikembangkan lebih lanjut.
